Sandon Hall is Staffordshire's premier country house wedding venue. Its elegant interiors and extensive grounds make it a dream location for unique and distinctive weddings, civil partnership ceremonies and receptions.
The Hall is available on an exclusive basis, meaning that you can marry and celebrate free of any distractions. Their emphasis is on flexibility, meaning that every wedding is unique and memorable.
There are many splendid settings and rooms to choose from at Sandon when planning your special day and our friendly, dedicated team will help you choose the best options to suit your requirements.
Their professional approach on the day will ensure they will satisfy all your requirements to the highest standard, leaving you free to relax and enjoy the occasion in complete confidence.
The oak-panelled Library is the perfect setting for a civil ceremony, offering stunning views over the gardens. The Saloon and Dining Room are also licensed for ceremonies. Once you have been married, you and your guests can then enjoy drinks and canapes in the Conservatory, always a bright and airy place to relax, as well as the gardens, which are beautiful throughout the year and abound with photo opportunities.
You and your guests can then move into the Saloon for the wedding breakfast - once guests are seated, you can both make a big entrance down the Saloon's grand staircase, a truly memorable way to start proceedings. For smaller parties, the Library or Dining Room can be utilised for the wedding breakfast.
For larger weddings, the grounds can be used for marquees, with space for up to 1000 guests. For something a little different, why not hold your wedding reception, or evening party, in a tipi? Surrounded by 400 acres of parkland, you will feel miles from anywhere!
Sandon Hall has also featured as a wedding venue on 'Don't Tell The Bride', the popular BBC3 show in which the groom and best man have to plan every aspect of the wedding as a surprise for the bride. The groom meticulously planned the day and the wedding was a huge success, with the bride loving the venue and all of the groom's other ideas.
